SUNDAY SERVICE
Sunday services are currently being held online, please contact the administrator for details if you would like to join us. We have a short service of thirty minutes, followed by an opportunity to chat with others in the congregation in groups of five or six.
Welcome
All ages are invited.
We gather to begin the service at 10.30am on a Sunday, to meet with God and each other Everyone is welcome. We usually start with a time of singing and prayer. Often these are times when we really experience God’s presence and love as we are worshipping and giving God thanks and praise. Don’t worry if you don’t know all the songs, the words are projected on two screens at the front. We pray for our family and friends and also for some of the bigger issues in and around our world. Talking and listening to God is an important part of our time together. We seek to cater for everyone through the provision of an audio loop system or large print song words.
Children are very welcome
Creche and facilities
Young children enjoy waving streamers and playing percussion instruments during the singing to help them to feel part of our worship together. Please don’t worry if they need to move around. We also have some story sacks with books and games. We stay altogether for the first part of the service, often there is a short interactive introduction to the day’s theme. Then the children are invited to go to their own special groups where they follow the theme, play games and participate in some craft activity. There is also a crèche for babies and very small children and the service is relayed into the foyer. Towards the end of our service the children return, sharing with us what they have been doing, it’s great to be part of a family all together.
Worship
Sing and praise the Lord with all your heart
If you are able you will be invited to stand and join in with the singing, words are projected on to two screens at the front of the Church and there is an audio loop system. The music group lead us in through the worship songs.
We want the Bible to be relevant in our everyday lives so each Sunday someone helps to explain a passage from the Bible and its relevance for us today. Usually, this is illustrated by photos and clips displayed on the screens. Once a month we have a special time with God that we call communion. Here we share bread and wine as we remember Jesus. All are invited to join in if they are a follower of Jesus but if you’re still thinking about this, you can sit quietly and continue to experience God’s presence.

Jesus shares his love with us
After the service everyone enjoys a chat over a cup of tea or coffee in the foyer. This is a good time to get to know each other more and ask any questions you may have. Sometimes we just need a listening ear and someone to pray with us and there are always people available who are part of our prayer ministry team (wearing blue badges).
